Hi there and welcome.

My name is Günther, though you might know me better as Froes.

I was born in the ’70s and had a creative, outdoorsy childhood that sparked a deep love for nature and

everything surrounding it.

It was also the time in my life when I began to struggle with my feelings especially those of love for men.

During that period, I experimented a lot creatively, musically, and everything in between.

Antwerp is where I met my first mentor, Franky Claeys. (www.frankyclaeys.com)

He introduced me to design on a whole new level and taught me how to translate my ideas into visual stories,

turning abstract thoughts into something tangible.

During another deep moment in my life I met a second mentor, a Dj called Kora (www.koramusique.com)

whome influenced me in my musical journey and after a deep conversation touched me deep inside with his kindness

that to this day still make me smile ear to ear.

Very grateful that whenever I need to I can relay on his advice.

Years passed, and I continued to design occasionally on the side, until one day I met a kind and down-to-earth man named CJ Lim. (www.cjlimimaginarium.com)

Meeting him changed my perspective...And made him into my 3th mentor.

He made me look with different eyes, with another perspective and a lot of imagination,

it reignited something in me and inspired me to return to graphic design.

I took the initiative to design the menu for the cocktail bar where I was working as a Dj.

From that day on, things started falling into place like pieces of a puzzle.

I fell in love with design all over again, took courses to sharpen my skills,

and finally felt confident enough to start my own business at the age of 48!

And that’s where I am now: uniquely common, and pure but not perfect.
